The accommodation is full of character and personality, and has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, which was sympathetically carried out in keeping with local building traditions, such that the Belvedere Apartments have retained their intimate and unique flavour.
They are located within an ancient palazzo in the historical centre and look out onto a beautiful flower-filled courtyard, paved in typical stonework.
For those wishing to spend their days in Cortona, immersed in nature and local culture, accompanied by the characteristic warm Tuscan light and the distinctive sounds and smells of Italian life, this region represents a place where the best of the old traditions live in complete harmony with the best of the new.
The Belvedere Apartments have been specifically designed with guests' every comfort in mind; each has a private entrance, and an outstanding view of the countryside of the Val di Chiana and the hazy blue waters of Lake Trasimeno.
All apartments ( Ortensia Apartment, Il Glicine Apartment, Dream Apartment and Belvedere Apartment) have central heating, TV and telephone, and a safe for personal effects. There is also a public car park close by for easy vehicle access.

Ortensia apartment

The dominant feature of the interior of Apartment Ortensia is a large stone arch, retained from the original structure of the palazzo.
Situated on the ground floor, it is accessed by an enchanting private alleyway leading into a pretty garden for guest use, which contains garden furniture.
Attention has been lovingly paid to fine details, ranging from the inlaid glass and wood, the soft rugs and floor coverings and the delicate fabrics of the furnishings.
The apartment is furnished in the understated elegance of rustic style, with terracotta floors and exposed beams.
There is a spacious and comfortable lounge with a sofa and cooking area, and a large Master bedroom with a wrought iron bedstead.
If required, a single bed can also be added. The bathroom has a shower, and adjoins a small washing area complete with washing machine.

Glicine apartment

Situated on the ground floor, spacious Apartment Glicine is for two people.
It is composed of an elegant lounge with a large comfortable sofa and a small fully-equipped kitchen for those who wish to satisfy their palates with the delights of the local produce, or to try out new recipes recently acquired from in and around Cortona.
The stylishly furnished bedroom has a large double bed, with an added single.
Adjacent to the bedroom is an exquisite bathroom with a jacuzzi shower.
Apartment Glicine is airy and bright, and is particularly recommended for families with children.
To add to the light ambience, patio doors open out directly onto a courtyard where guests can relax in the fresh air of the Tuscan hills.
During the summer months, guests can also make use of a delightful private swimming pool, situated only five kilometres away

Located on the first floor of the ancient palazzo, Apartment Dream is composed of a spacious lounge, a fully equipped kitchen and two bedrooms, one double and one twin, along with a stylish bathroom and shower.
This bright and tranquil apartment has a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside, over the ancient rooftops of the palazzi, and on the bustle of daily life in Cortona.
