A nice place to stay, in the heart of Castellammare old town. Helpful owner, not that we ever saw much of him. The staff were not `very bad´, it is just that there were not any of them. Stupid questionnaire.

Poorly equipt kitchen. Rubbish collection erratic at best, though this is not the fault of the owners.

The location was perfect, in the centre of town and right off a street with great little shops, such as a fish mongers and deli. There is a cafe nearby called Bar Soho, with seats under trees near the park and a friendly owner called Pino who used to live in New York. The apartment itself was charming upstairs and the two terraces have lovely views of the sea.

The owner asked us by email for 50 euros extra to cover cleaning and towels, but then only left us two small miserable towels. Considering luggage restrictions prevent you from bringing big towels, trying to dry ourselves or go to the beach required a bit of planning!
There is one bedroom with bunkbeds that the owner kindly tried to turn into a bed for an adult, but it wasn't very pleasant. Red bunk-bed frames, no bedding but orange sheets, and a tiny set of drawers for clothes mean the room was quite uncomfortable.
The biggest complaint would have to be the lack of air-conditioning. The apartment was advertised as having AC but there was only a complicated old fan system in the e kitchen. Given the kitchen is on a different floor to the bedrooms, there were some very sleepiness nights due to the immense heat (it was, in fairness, the middle of July).

The apartment is located perfectly, in the historic center and at a quiet street. The owner is very helpful. The city is quite nice with butiful surroundings, and by boat car or public transport you can easily travel to nice places.

a real knife, and a can opener would be suitable. Otherwise the place is very well equiped. Also a few more glsses and large plates would be useful.

We had an Excellent stay with a most helpful host. A sweet appartment that was situated perfectly. Couldn't have been better.

The kitchen could have been a little bit more equipped. But still very good.

Friendly appartment and very helpful owner (possible to communicate in English), very good standard, great views from the roof, well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, washing machine, very good price in September, central position but quiet, children friendly even if the stairs are very steep- the neighbours loved our little daughter!. It was good to have a car to get to the beaches (Yes, we did go there in September!) and to see the amazing cultural and natural places around (Zingaro, Segesta, Seliunte, Monreale, Palermo, Trapani- all very easy within reach for day trips). If you come in September- don´t miss couscous-festival in San Vito lo Capo.

sehr schöne Wohnung mit genialer Terrasse, Blick aufs Meer. Mitten in der Stadt aber angenehm ruhig. Auto ist nicht schecht, da schöne Strände ca. 5km entfernt. jederzeit wieder!!!
