Bed and Breakfast - Da Anatolia

   The owners, Anatolia and Mauro, were extremely hospitable, very friendly and talkative. They made large breakfasts for us every morning at a time that suited us and, despite their very limited English, engaged us in lots of friendly banter and conversation. Anatolia baked a different cake every morning and Mauro was always making fresh coffee. They offered to drive us to places in the village, to show us the bank or to help us use the Italian cigarette machines when the shops were closed. The rooms were basic but very clean (I stayed in the twin room with the red curtains), and we were given plug-in mosquito machines. Towels and bed linen were changed every couple of days and, when we mentioned we were driving to the beach, Anatolia came down with a pile of beach towels for us to use. Some rooms had en-suite bathrooms, however, most had bathrooms that were along a corridor or across the kitchen. There was one bathroom assigned for each room and all were fully functional and perfectly clean. All-in-all we (a group of us sharing three rooms) had an excellent stay and the place was superb value. The accommodation is basic, not luxury, but this is more than compensated for by the lovely owners and their hospitality.

   The only downside was the location. We were here for a wedding and were hoping for plenty of cheerful nights out at restaurants or bars, however, Thiesi is a very small, sleepy village. So if you're looking for lots of entertainment, be prepared to drive for it.

   simpatia della proprietaria, camera spaziosa, bella doccia

   i materassi potrebbero essere migliori... per noi, che siamo abituati a dormire su materassi ortopedici particolarmente duri, il letto era un po' troppo 'affossato'

Bed & Breakfast Da Anatolia is at the ground floor of a house where also the owners live (upstairs)

The B&B offers a family atmosphere where you can savor the taste of tradition and has a separate entrance for greater autonomy.

Warm in winter and naturally cool in summer, it offers comfortable accommodation in double rooms, with private or en-suite bathroom.

Bed & Breakfast Da Anatolia offers its guests a games room and an ample parking.

On request you have the use of the kitchen, where a rich breakfast is served prepared with local produce and cakes made by the landlady.

Bed & Breakfast Da Anatolia is located in the Northern Sardinia rich in Nuraghi ruins, where there are Nuraghi's necropolis.

By requesting it in advance, we can arrange guided tours and excursions in the area.
