   Fulvio and Katia were wonderful hosts and the cooking class was so much fun. The pool is gorgeous with the most beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and San Gimignano in the distance. Breakfast choice was also good and location is perfect, lovely and quiet and just a 5min drive from the town. Fulvio is a font of information about the area.

   Would like air con in the rooms otherwise everything else was perfect.

   My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Il Vicario. This was the first experience at a bed and breakfast for some and having the chance to visit with other travelers was great. Fulvio was a wonderful host and the food was delicious. We all highly recommend this property.

   Our visit here was just an overnight but it was delightful. staff was full of energy and delightful stories and the Tuscan dishes excellent.

   A little hard to find but worth the trouble.

   We got sick while there and the host Fulvio took my wife and I to the hospital and waited with us most of the 6 hours we were there. He helped communicate with the hospital staff, paid the bill for us (we paid him when checking out) and took us to a pharmacy for the prescriptions (also paid for those). Only cost is E25 each for the hospital and about E60 for the medicine. This is a caring man and even though we were no happy about being sick we thank him for his going above and beyond for us. Katia Fulvio's niece taught the cooking class which was a wonderful experience. I would recommend this to anyone staying there. You do not have to stay there to take the class.

   The rooms were plain but nice and clean. Fulvio and Katia were amazing hosts. We felt like we were in a real family house at meal time. All of the guests got to know each other and the hosts very well. The food was some of the best we had in Italy and the prices were certainly good. We would recommend Il Vicario to anyone driving in Tuscany and would recommend that you take supper here as well as breakfast. There was lots of parking and places to sit outdoors. The fact that most of the people we met here were returning guests says a lot for the wonderful hospitality. We also hope to return.

   The location was walking distance to San Gimignano. The landlords went above and beyond to ensure that I and other guests were looked after and thoroughly enjoyed the time we stayed there. The landlords knowledge of the area and surrounding areas was fantastic too.

   We had a lovely large room with private bath. It was clean and comfortable. The host was wonderful and very helpful with suggestions. The breakfast was very nice. When we arrived we were surprised with wine and snacks in the garden where we met with others who were staying here. Some of the guests who were staying for a longer time were very positive about the dinner that was cooked for them.

   It was too short!

   My husband and I had a wonderful time at Il Vacario. The views from the B&B were awesome, looking out into the hills as well as San Gimignano. We were treated like family and couldn't ask for more!

   We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Il Vicario. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the house is in a beautiful situation. We enjoyed a delicious dinner cooked by the proprietor on two evenings in company with other visitors which was great fun. San Gimignano was near enough to visit in the evening on other occasions. We would certainly stay at Il Vicario if we visit Tuscany again. We would certainly stay at Il Vicario again.
