   Lovely welcome from the owners son who made us feel very welcome. It was really nice that he said we could also pick fruit from the orchard!

   The bottom level of our loft apartment was extremely cold on the first night, even with the heating on!

   My daughter and I liked the hosts very much. The food was delicious, not to mention the view/s. Weadored the dogs, especially one of them. Their son took us on a tour, two days in a row. He and his sister - and her husband spoke very good English - and it was a plus since I didn't feel like driving. It would have been perfect if the bus driver in Siracusa had know where to drop us off...

   The instructions to get ther are awful. It says``Archeological Park´´ and it is miles from there. It took us ages to find it.
   Although they call themselves a Bed and Breakfast, and it is not particulary cheap, breakfast was not included.

   La sensazione di tranquillità che trasmette il luogo pur essendo molto vicino alla città, l'assenza della tv in camera, la colazione con le prelibate marmellate nonché la squisita cena con pesce freschissimo il tutto "fatto in casa" dai gestori.

   l'isolamento acustico della stanza (almeno nella "mimosa" dove abbiamo soggiornato noi) è da migliorare sicuramente

   The hospitality is excellent and the owners continually go beyond what is expected to make certain their guests feel comfortable. The rooms are very comfortable and well designed. There was a small stocked kitchenette and dining table. I also highly recommend the excellent dinners they offer guests. The family truly works hard to ensure that all aspects of your trip go well. Extremely well located for visiting Siracusa and the surrounding countryside.

Farmhouse La Frescura, realised within an ancient country house dating back to the 17th century, is immersed in nature and surrounded by twelve hectares of citrus groves.

The accomodations are furnished with a simple and minimal taste but attentive care for comfort and are provided of air conditioning and full service kitchens.

Farmhouse La Frescura offers its guests different types of accommodation:

- n. 1 open space consists of a large living room with sofa bed, bathroom, two raised rooms with double bedroom, and two single beds.

- n. 1 flat with view, balcony with access to the terrace; double bedroom, bathroom, living room with sofa bed and kitchenette.

- n. 2 flat with view, consisting of double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen with dining area.

- n. 1 one-roomed flat (25mq) with double bed, kitchenette, bathroom.

- n.2 double bedroom, bathroom.

- n. 2 Loft consist of living room with sofa bed, loft with double bed, bathroom, veranda.

- n. 2 Loft consist of living room with sofa bed and kitchen corner, loft with double bed, bathroom, veranda.

Farmhouse La Frescura offers library (English, Italian, Dutch), common space with sofas and hifi, panoramic terrace, orange and lemon trees garden, bike rentals, market-garden.

We produce IGP lemons, oranges, mandarins, pomegranates, almonds, walnuts and olives, which are transformed into marmalades, liqueurs, jams, extra virgin olive oil and orange blossom honey.

The guests of Farmhouse La Frescura can sample delicious, organic vegetables cultivated in our gardens.

You can also taste some of the great domestic products: confiture, honey, rosolio (a kind of strong liqueur made from all kind of essences, for instance blackberries, laurel leaves, walnuts, lemon and bergamot) and some of the typical Sicilian recipes made by mamma Franca.
