   Excellent location for exploring Tuscany and Umbria. Close to the train station for the trip to Florence---better than driving as parking can be difficult in the city. Quiet, clean and comfortable with satellite TV to keep in touch with what is happening at home no matter where you are from. No hidden charges. Extremely helpful staff. Use this as your hub, rent a car on arrival in either Florence (1 1/2 hours) or Rome (2 1/4 hours) and travel the back roads to visit all of the medieval cities described in the guide books. Easy access to the farmhouse with directions from web site. Just below Cortona on the Tuscan plain.

Farmhouse La Mucchia is a holiday apartment and an Art Gallery at the same time, and is located in Tuscany, at the foot of Cortona, an ancient Etruscan town, founded by the residence of Umbria about 3,000 years ago, even before Rome was established.

Farmhouse La Mucchia is currently divided into 8 apartments, located on the 1st floor, and furnished in Tuscan style: warm, comfortable and relaxing.

All apartments of the farmhouse are well furnished in an authentic Tuscan style and are equipped with a fully-equipped kitchen.
