   The location and cleanliness

   Living room furniture was insufficient for 4 people and very uncomfortable. Only one sofa supplied which was very uncomfortable for seating. Kitchen very, very small. No hanging rack supplied for hand washing.

   Location was great. More humid than expected. Once AC was turned on, the apartment became more confortable. The kitchen is very small, not very adequate for longer stays. The older lady living on the floor above was just adorable and welcoming! The furniture was very nice (contemporary cherry italian). The beds were confortable. The bathroom was adequate, a little dated.

   We had a double room at La Scalinata which is a beatifully decorated appartment. It is very close to the ferry, being just up the steps directly opposite the wharf. With a lovely terrace where you can eat meals it has a thoroughly Italian atmosphere. Most importantly - comfortable beds, nicely decorated, close to ferry, right in the heart of Bellagio, compact but good kitchen. The perfect place to visit Lake Como.

   Great central location at a great price!

   The ameneties clearly stated that the apartment had an outdoor pool. When we arrived it was very clear that there was no pool (no room for one) and when we enquired and got past the language issue we discovered that we had access to a pool at a tennis club which was a 15-20 minute walk away. One of the reasons I booked La Scalinata was for the pool so somewahat disappointed to find there wasnt one!

   The owners of the apartment are lovely and the apartment is a good value.

   The location is very central which is charming. The problem though was the noise that comes with a central location. We brought our baby and it was too loud to get her to bed until 11 pm.

   We loved La Scalinata. We had 7 nights in the apartment and it was the highlight of our 4 week trip. The apartment is located in the centre of Bellagio. The apartment was spotless and more than comfortable. It was great sitting out on the terrace in the afternoon and listening to the church bells while enjoying some wine and cheese. Would absoluately recommend this appartment.

   The apartment was better than expected. Location was in middle of town best location in town. Bellagio was the highlight of our 6 week trip in Italy And France very relaxing last stop before returning to Australia.

   Location is absolutely perfect for walking and eating Bellagio !!! Restuarants 2 doors up and all the shops you need and with the beauty of the old town all about you will be enthralled by it all. The perfect get away.

   Having to leave to return home !!!

   The location is excellent and the water view (partial) across to the mountains is very pretty. The apartment is well located in the centre of the village, well organised and very pleasant.

   There was nothing unsatisfactory.

   Location in the heart of belaggio was exellent. Lot of nice restaurants / shops around. Not long distance to boats etc...

   We had the apartment on 3rd floor and steps were quite tight and had sharp rice. Difficult to handle with all luggages especially if problems with heavy walking.
