   We really enjoyed our stay, very nice people, good hospitality, large garden, nice breakfast with home-made cake and jams.

   We would have preferred to have the ability to sit with 4 persons on our room (there were only 3 chairs) and prepare a cup of tea or coffee ourselves.
   The breakfast was nice and good quality, but limited in variation.

   Overall we had a very nice time at the Sorgive e le volpi. The place is clean, well equipped and has a nice breakfast. The staff was very nice. It is located 15 min. from the south side of the Garda Lake. The pool is nice, but not located in the farmhouse and required a 10 min. walk.

   Our room was very small, the kids (3) had kind of an “attic” or “second floor” for their beds, But it was too short to stand there. The air-condition didn’t really made the job, and it was HOT....
   I would return to this farmhouse, but will ask for a different room with more space.

The Farmhouse "Le Sorgive e le Volpi" in Solferino, in the green oasis of the Morainic Hills in the province of Mantua; just 10 kilometres from Lake Garda.

Uncontaminated nature that makes a perfect backdrop for enchanting medieval towns, Romanesque parishes, ancient villas and castles.

The "Le Sorgive e le Volpi", owned by Anna and Vittorio Serenelli is situated in an enormous holding belonging to the family, whose farming traditions date back to the Veronese nobility at the end of the XII century.

Situated among woods, open fields and widespread vines, the farm buildings have been restructured to offer the guest a holiday based on wellbeing, relaxation and fun.

Guests may choose to stay in comfortable rooms or mini-flats. With its variety of farm produce.

The restaurant offers the delicacies of genuine cuisine in a well laid-out and welcoming setting.

Those who are more dynamic can make use of the gym, riding school, and spaces and equipment for all types of open-air leisure activities.

The breakfast room is the ideal place for meeting others and tasting the farm produce (jams, wine, honey, processed pork meats...).

In the large dining hall with its veranda and panoramic view of the hills, you can enjoy the excellent homemade cured meats and cheeses, home-made pasta, free-range chicken, seasonal vegetables, fruit desserts, locally produced wines and other delicacies.

Some organically grown farm produce is also available for purchase.
