Farmhouse - Podere Luisa

Podere Luisa is a small, friendly, family run farmhouse set in the heart of Tuscany. It is situated in the picturesque hills of the Chianti wine area, surrounded by woods and vineyards, with a magnificent view over Valdarno valley and the Pratomagno Mountains.

Podere Luisa has been created by the traditional restoration of an antique barn, using only traditional materials and reusing, where possible the original wooden beams and terracotta floor and ceiling tiles.

The building is divided into three apartments that can accommodate from two to eight people, all equipped with air-conditioning, under floor heating, satellite television and fully equipped kitchen.

Each apartment has its own entrance, and either terrace or patio, with direct access to the swimming pool and garden area.

The owners, along with their one year old daughter are always on hand to help you make the most of your stay. They can organise wine tasting (one is a qualified sommelier), traditional Tuscan cookery courses and barbecues, using only the finest local produce.

If you prefer to do everything yourself, wood is provided use with the barbeque and guests are welcome to help themselves to all the produce growing in the vegetable garden.

Podere Luisa is the perfect place to unwind from the stresses of the modern lifestyle. Relax by the pool, or in the sauna, or enjoy one of the many massages on offer. For the more energetic, the surrounding countryside is perfect for walking or cycling (bicycles can be provided).
