   il posto meraviglioso e veramente ben curato. l'accoglienza da parte della famiglia ospitante è stata ottima. la nostra camera era molto ampia e pulita, la colazione sempre abbondante. voto complessivo: AAA+++++

   considerato il gran caldo di quei giorni avrebbe fatto comodo il condizionatore in camera (avevamo comunque a disposizione un ventilatore grande)

   La famiglia è molto ospitale, abbiamo apprezzato particolarmente la loro gentilezza e disponibilità. La signora prepara delle marmellate deliziose, la colazione è a base di prodotti locali e abbondante. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa.

   Everything was lovely! We were made to feel very "at home", the room was large and comfortable, breakfasts were full of jams and ham and cheese and eggs - plenty of variety! It was in a beautiful place, tucked in to olive groves and vines but near to great places to visit. The house was stunning and our hosts polite, warm and accommodating. We would definitely come back.

   That it wasn't for long enough!

   If you're looking to stay in real Tuscan campagnia - this is it! The surroundings are gorgeous with green valleys through your window and flowers blooming. The owner is very pleasant and helpful. Her breakfast was a blast - we had freshly made bread, brownie pie, hams, cheeses and her own made jams form the oranges, pears, strawberries and many more right from her garden. Would definitely come back.

   The house might be a little bit hard to find, but if you drive to Marbella, after you pass it, look for Podere Sorbo sign and you should be there. It's also a little bit further from other bigger towns in Tuscany, so fits if you want more of countryside experience.

   We stayed in Podere il Sorbo at the end of August for 3 days. Everything with Podere il Sorbo was at superlative! Signora Lia is wonderful hostess, very nice and hospitable. Location is very good. Countryside is full of olive trees and vineyards. The house is far away from the main road so it was quiet, but at the same time close to all the touristic attractions. We will definitely return there:-)

   Everything with Podere il Sorbo was at superlative! I stayed there with my mother for a week and we were treated like queens for the entire stay: Signora Lia is the most wonderful hostess you can ever get - and I am not exaggerating. I have travelled the world quite a lot, and I assure you, the charm and hospitability of this B&B is something out of its league. You will understand when you get there. Location wise, again, only positive things to say - we travelled around for a week to see the typical Tuscan landscape and buy wine and olive oil directly from the producers and we realised very soon that we have chosen the best location for our stay - far away from the main road so it was quiet, but at the same time close to all the touristic attractions and to the vineyards, perfect! I will definitely return there with my husband and I will recommend it to everyone I know - so book your room soon ;)

   La chambre était très propre et très calme. On a eu le droit a un petit déjeuner maison avec gateau fait par la maitresse juste pour nous. Très accueillant en plein campagne toscane.

   Ce n'est pas très facile à trouver même avec l'adresse. Il faut mieux y aller en fin d'après midi quand il fait jour, mais sinon je recommande cet endroit.

   We stayed at the end of April for 5 days. Location is very good. Countryside is full of wineyards and olive trees. It is only 20 minutes to Chianti area, 40 minutes to Florence or Siena or San Gimignano and a little more then 1 houre to Pisa by car. It is possible to visit the most interesting sigths in Tuscany from here so you do not need to change location. In vicinity (5-10 minutes by car) are a lot of choices where you can try very good italian and tuscan food for good price. Couple who run Podere Sorbo is nice and will do everything to satisfy your needs. Breakfast is good with a lot of choice.
