Bed and Breakfast - Villa Fiona

   I stayed at Villa Fiona a few years ago and was so amused with the friendliness of the hosts that have always wanted to come back. The second stay in September 2015 was short but very pleasant and we received a very warm wellcome from Giacomo. The house is beautifully refurbished, modern and rustical at the same time, with very large rooms and large bathrooms. The surrounding area is serene. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. Although the place is a short drive from Lucca and Pisa, it was the least touristic place we visited during our two-and-a-half-week tour of Toscana and northern Italy: we drove to a trattoria in the nearby village for dinner and were the only foreignors in the trattoria and aparently the only tourists in the village. A nice hidden corner of Toscana. I wish i could come again.

   There was none.

   Struttura molto carina e ben ristrutturata , accogliente e pulita. La signora è stata straordinariamente gentile e disponibile. Colazione familiare ma servita con cura; pane caldo e caffè ottimo. Ci siamo presentati con due bovari del bernese dopo aver dichiarato solo di avere due cani.....ma senza dire che in due totalizzano 100kg circa ma l'accoglienza è stata fantastica....a parte l'iniziale stupore!!! Se tornassi in zona dormirei sicuramente li! Nelle immediate vicinanze molti ottimi ristoranti e scorci da visitare. La struttura e circondata dal bosco e da aperta campagna. Insomma....andateci e rimarrete soddisfatti

   La posizione tra vigneti ed uliveti garantisce relax e tranquillità. Un ringraziamento per il proprietario Sig.Giacomo che con la sua gentilezza ci ha fornito preziosi consigli sia turistici che "culinari". Un grazie anche alla signora per la sua disponibilità. Ci ritorneremo -

   Das Haus ist besonders geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig.

   High placed leaning joistes ceiling makes rooms unique. In this region is this maybe normal, but for me is unique and really beautifull :-) Large rooms, very laaaarge comfortable beds and the net on windows against mosquitos. The location is quiet and peacefull. The staff is speeking also english.

   Only one kind of small breakfast (mostly sweet). I would like to pay more to better varied breakfast.

   Very clean and the "bathroomstandard" was high. Very nice and variable breakfeast. The staff most kind and helpfull. We found the location very good - out in the country but very near small towns and major roads.
