   The B&B was in the quiet, scenic outskirts of La Spezia, yet had easy train and bus connections to downtown. The accommodations were comfortable with modern conveniences. Carla (the owner of the B&B) was very friendly and helpful in answering our many questions and in obtaining information for any question for which she did not have the answers. The breakfasts were delicious and generous.

   The Wi-Fi signal at the B&B was weak and frequently disappeared totally.

   We enjoyed the lookover to the top-village, Vezzano-Ligure. The room was nicely decorated. The landlady kind. For us it was good she talked some french

   In 6 nights we didn't have clean bedlinen once.
   For us the house was difficult to find. It would have been simple if we had known that " Via Borrotzu " couldn't be find with the TomTom. After a difficult discussion by telephone in italian we discovered that we had to find " Via Aldo Mora " at first, and that Alle Mimose was in Prati di Vezzano and not on top of the hill. This could have been simply explained before and had saved us lots of time after a long yourney

   wunderschönes Ambiente, typische offene italienische Art der Gastgeberin Carla

   Baustelle auf dem Grundstück nebenan - wurde uns leider zuvor nicht mitgeteilt! Bauarbeiten begannen morgens ab 7.30/8.00 Uhr!

   We were satisfied by the home, the room we had with private bath, the separate entrance, the breakfast and the staff (owners). It was very nice, comfortable and clean.

   The only thing that was a problem was its distance to La Spezia and the "5 minute walk" from the train station is uphill so with luggage it would be a problem. The location is perfect to sit and stay (and it really is only 10 minutes by train or bus) and the boat can certainly void any negatives.

   The lady of the house was very kind and helpful. I really liked her way of taking care of us.

   The trains nearby were sometimes noisy.
