   Amazing location, very special atmosphere, spacious apt, huge garden, little river under the garden, 100% quiet place (the very last building in a narrow valley). Nicely renovated old house, large, well equipped kitchen. Wi-fi. No signal for mobiles due to the high mountains around. Whatever requests, questions we had we got a reply/solution within a very short time. We got a present from the owners: a bottle of their own olive oil made from the olives around the house. In the house everything is organized, labelled so you can find whatever you're looking for. Even when it was 36 degrees outside the house remained cool. There are 2 donkeys and a pony horse. The whole valley is actually an eco museum of the previous paper manufacturing houses, and is a nature protection zone. It was one of our best stays in Italy, very relaxing, peaceful and comfortable. It's a perfect hide-away. The apt is actually even nicer than on the photos...

   The only disadvantage is how to get to the house. You need a small or medium size car - definitely not a sport car or a large one. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the house from the village, through a narrow valley, on a dirt road surrounded with cliffs (it's not dangerous just narrow). We did not know that before (the owner sent us a warning mail that ended in the junk mail so we had no info finally), we went there with a large car. The reaction was outstanding: they lended us a small 4WD that we used to get to the house (we left our car in the parking area at the entrance of the valley, and we exchanged the cars whenever we left the town). But the place is so nice you don't really want to go anywhere :-)

The Holiday Apartment Casa Lume is set along the valley from wchic there are some of the most interesting remains of ancient paper mills.

The facility is surrounded by a large agricultural parcel and olive trees. It is equipped with a large kitchen with fireplace, two bedrooms with 4 beds and one bathroom .

Ideal for sportsmen and nature lovers. Pets are welcome.
