   verry convinient when it comes to the old town. the host was extremely friendly.

   at this time of the year the appartment was a bit cold. we hoped that thee would have been three seperate bedrooms and some confortable chairs.

   Ideal location, so close to the Piazza Vecchia and yet so peaceful (apart from the church bells, which were pretty loud, but we loved them - and they don't ring between 10pm and 7am). Having a roof garden was a rare treat, and we enjoyed our chats with Gianmauro when he served our breakfast there in the mornings. I was there with two friends and we had a room with a large double bed, a single bed, and a ladder to the mezzanine bed (my den!) Perfect weekend retreat.

   We had a fantastic stay at Casa Mario Lupo, it is well situated in the heart of Cita Alta. The welcome we received from Gianmurco was much appreciated and very helpful, he is the perfect host. The buliding has much history which we loved and the apartment was spacious, it exceeded our expectations.Thank you Gianmurco and BB Planet

   A kettle and toaster would have been helpful for our tea and toast (we are a mature British couple!)

   Naprosto skvělé umístění apartmánu v historickem centru Bergama. Pokoj s vlastním krbem, který není problém zapálit. Majitel rád a ochotně přinesl i další dříví. Great location in centre of historic part of Bergamo. Fireplace in room..

   Fantastic location, very interesting appartment with lots of character (although beware; Mezzanine bedrooms have very low ceilings and there are no doors, just curtains, to bedrooms). Ample space for a family with three children. Great recommendations for eating & sightseeing from most welcoming host. Lovely city - SO much nicer to be in the old town (Citta Alta) than the new

   We loved the fact that the apartment is in the old town. That gives you the feeling that you stay in a little village. In this area there are a lot of shops and open on sundays. Only for a supermarket you have to go down the funiculare, but not for a bakery/butcher. Also a few restaurants are here.
