   The cottage was very well located in terms of walking to the main shopping eating area and we were able to park our car reasonably close in terms of long day outings and nights out. The cottage was a very good size and we particularly liked the bedroom which was charming. The kitchen too was quite functional although quite small and the washing machine worked as did the heating as the weather was quite cold which meant we did not get the chance to use the garden which was also very pretty. Our landlord was available always on the mobile without hanging around and the fact that both he and his wife spoke very good English made our stay a lot easier.

   Very little did not satisfy us - as I said it was a pity the weather was so unseasonably cold as we were unable to make use of the very pretty and sheltered courtyard garden. Our ability to find longterm free parking in the town was great as one of us is disabled and the proximity to the main streets of Cortona made walking in and wandering around an easy option.

   An amazing home! The owners, Alessandro and Marzia was so welcoming a did everything to make our hoilday a wonderful trip. The beautiful view from the wonderfully sweet aroama from all the roses, gliicine, peonies, and other flowers of the private garden was unexpected and most enjoyed. Surrounded in total privacy yet only had to walk out of the gate to the city of Cortona was a gift. The bedroom was romantic and spacious as was the living-room area. The quiet yet spacious and comfortable reading room was a quiet retreat. A fully equipped kitchen and totally sweet dining area was perfect. The helpful suggestions to restrauants and places to see and vist from Alessandro was greatly appreciated and all perfect. I would highly recommend this villa/apartment as a place to stay and visit.

   I have no complaints. We was totally satisfied.

   The house was perfectly presented, and had supplies such as tea, coffee, sugar, pasta, oil, pepper and salt ready for our use. The private sunny garden was a perfect place to sit and relax after busy day sight seeing, or just wandering the local shops and doing a bit of shopping. The owners Alessandra and Marizia were very friendly and helpful, and phoned us a couple of days after we arrived to see if everything was ok, or whether they could help us in any way. A very good place to get a feel of life in Tuscany. Highly recommended.

   We only had time to spend a week here.

Holiday Apartment Il Glicine is situated just outside the historical town centre of the medieval town of Cortona.

The house is spacious and bright thanks to the light that penetrates from the private garden.

The garden is very quiet and equipped with a small table with wrought iron chairs underneath a porch covered with roses, ideal to enjoy an outdoor breakfast or precious moments of relax.

Il Glicine is composed of a well-equipped small kitchen, with fridge and freezer, and a dining room with table and chairs.

The sleeping area has a double bedroom and a private bathroom with shower and bathtub and equipped with hairdryer.

For their relaxing moments guests have at their disposal a large living room with TV and DVD player and a very comfortable double sofa bed. There also is a sitting room with a reading corner.
