   Für unsere Bedürfnisse war das Appartement super. Abseits vom Trubel, aber nur eine Vaporetto-Station von der gegenüberliegenden Hauptinsel und kurze Fahrzeiten zu allen anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Aus den Fenstern sieht man auf einen Nebenkanal und schräg rüber über den großen Giudecca-Kanal zum Campanile auf dem Markus-Platz. Das Appartement ist nett und persönlich eingerichtet und hat alles, was man braucht. Und ist - vielleicht nicht unwichtig um diese Jahreszeit - warm und trocken. Wir sind abends immer gerne "nach Hause" gekommen!

   Es war wie in der eigenen Ferienwohnung. Die Lage und die Einrichtung waren perfekt. Das wird jetzt "unsere" Wohnung in Venedig.

   La posizione è ottima: zona tranquilla, su di un canale, vicino ad un attracco per i vaporetti che passano frequenti, non lontano da un supermercato con prezzi normali. L'appartamento è sufficientemente spazioso per quattro persone ed è dotato di un giardino interno. E' un'ottima base per una visita di Venezia e dintorni.

   Bisognerebbe rinnovare alcuni elementi di arredo che risultano "macchiati dal tempo", come ad esempio le poltrone, il ripiano del mobile della cucina, la tenda della doccia. Andrebbe anche curata meglio la pulizia delle posate e delle stoviglie a disposizione.

   Loved the apartment, especially the pretty garden. Also felt very safe staying there, as the concierge was nearly always there, and when he wasn't, the outer gate was always locked. Very good location; nice to stay away from the centre of Venice, which, unfortunately, has become more crowded than ever. Good supermarket nearby (Co-Op) - when we eventually found it! Also: very good shower!

   Only disadvantage to being so close to a canal were the mosquitos, although at least there was a plug-in diffuser in the apartment already. Unfortunately, didn't dare open shutters at night in case even more came in, and, with no air con or fan of any kind, it was really too hot to sleep! If an air con unit is too expensive, perhaps a ceiling fan, or a free-standing electric one could be provided?? Also: some decent cutlery in the kitchen would be good!!!

   Very good information given by the owner Gianfranco. The apartment is situated on the quiet island Giudecca, opposite Venice. It only takes 2 minutes by vaporetto to take you to Dorsoduro, the best area of Venice! There is a big supermarket on Giudecca island, with normal prices. On Giudecca and Dorsoduro normal prices in restaurants and bars. The apartment is much nicer than it looks on the pictures! Nice kitchen with view on the canal, that is really spectacular, all the boats passing your bedroom- and kitchenwindow!We definitely reccomend La casa sul canale. (It was the best offer we got)

   People say Venice is sinking because of the water. I say it’s because the world is always visiting here weighing her down to death. All the more reason to stay in a location away from the madness. We have been here for a week during October 2011. Fantastic weather and a great location away from all the activity but such a short commute each morning of 3 – 20 min depending on where you wanted to get to. On our first siesta we woke to the huge Cruise Liner ‘Azzurra’ going by our window on the canal playing Nessun Dorma followed by Partiro……it was the beginning of a wonderful week. We also rent out apartments in Sydney and Argentina and so we like certain facilities provided. With that in mind I Highly recommended this Venice apt as it comes complete with all the necessary facilities one needs to prepare some food items if desired, it is quiet and is in a really nice complex of unites with a communal garden and concierge. We provide similar services If you intend to come to Sydney Australia or visit BA Argentina look us up…just Google vrbo 360717 or 199079. The surprise was some of the food items available for us when we arrived. Very welcome and very unexpected.

   L'appartamento anche se piccolo ha stanze spaziose e ben illimuninate. E' situato in un condominio con un bel giardino e ha vista direttamente sul canale della Giudecca. Ottimo per muoversi per ogni parte della città.

   Ìû ïðåáûâàëè â Âåíåöèè 4 íî÷è. Õîçÿéêà êâàðòèðû áûëà ëþáåçíà, ìû ïîëó÷èëè ïîäðîáíåéøóþ èíñòðóêöèþ î òîì , êàê äîáðàòüñÿ äî ìåñòà ïî åë. ïî÷òå. È äåéñòâèòåëüíî ó íàñ íå áûëî ïðîáëåì àáñîëþòíî! Êâàðòèðà, äåéñòâèòåëüíî, ðàññïîëîæåíà â øèêàðíîì ìåñòå! È áëèçêî äî Âåíåöèè è òèõî, è ïðåêðàñíûé âèä èç îêíà. Íàøå ïðåáûâàíèå áûëî êîìôîðòíûì.Ëè÷íîå âïå÷àòëåíèå íàìíîãî ëó÷øå, ÷åì ïî ôîòîãðàôèÿì.

   Ðàçâå ÷òî âõîäíàÿ äâåðü îòêðûâàåòñÿ òóãî. :))

   casa molto accogliente dotata di tutto ciò di cui si possa aver bisogno in trasferta, dal lucido per scarpe alle mappe della città, dalle monografie sui monumenti alla collezione di sigari da relax.. è stato come stare a casa propria!.

   Si dovrebbero sostituire il materasso matrimoniale e la tenda per doccia.
