   It was near train station and port

   The breakfast I was not told it would be self service in a very cramped kitchen and the poor welcome. I have visted Italy for many years so I will not take culture as an excuse.

   The location was perfect for us (walking distance to the port to join a cruise ship). Also very close to the promenade with restaurants, bars etc. The room was excellent. Very clean and very tidy. The lady 'Melina' was very helpful. We have already recommended Il Mare to others. We will definately be going back.

   Should mention in the B&B description that you will need to call first to make sure someone is available to receive you when you arrive. I
