About 5 km away from the market town of Greve in Chianti going up into the hills in the direction of Natural park of San Michele you reach Le Cetinelle, a beautiful, centuries-old Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by woodland.
The farmhouse has six big double bedrooms, about 15 square meters, with a double bed or 2 single beds, each all with private bathroom with bathtub and shower and windows from where our guests enjoy a wonderful view of the huge private garden and of the beautiful natural context.
All the bedrooms have been recently restored and are painted in different colours such as blue, lilac, yellow, green, peach and ivory. They are situated next to the big dining room where the breakfast is served.
Five of the six rooms are situated on the first floor while only one is situated on the second floor in a small 16th century tower, from which even Florence's lights are visible. The rooms are romantic, comfortable, and quiet and finished with great care.
The dining room, comfortable and intimate is situated on the first floor. It has a big old fire-place which warms up the coldest season. It's here where every morning from 8,30 to 9,30 a huge breakfast with homemade cakes and marmalade , bread, juice, coffee, milk, tea and many other good things is served.
Our B&B guests are free to use the kitchen if they wish to prepare snacks and light meals. There are chairs and tables for the use of our guests in the garden and round the swimming pool so on hot days the guests can eat outside.
Our customers can use the Internet by Wi-Fi technology; wireless and high-speed connection. Laptop or PDA with Wi-Fi support is required. Internet Point!
Le Cetinelle enjoys the privilege of a unique position, because it is part of an uncontaminated nature, far from the noise of traffic and at the same time near the centre of Greve and its comforts.
You will find a huge garden surrounded by woods, with deck-chairs, tables and wooden gazebo. Our beautiful swimming pool with a glorious view is also at your disposal.
The pool is 6m x 12m with 3m of steps into the water. The pool is surrounded by a garden with a beautiful wrought iron gazebo, with tables and chairs. From the swimming pool which overlooks the vines there is a magnificent view over the Tuscan hills and all the way to Florence and beyond.
From Le Cetinelle in every direction, there is a great view of the vines and olive trees which provide us with excellent wine and extra virgin olive oil. Guests can taste these products while you are here and they can buy wine and oil to take home
Simonetta and Luca await with pleasure your visit. Le Cetinelle is open all year round.
