   We were looking for an authentic historic place to stay during our visit to Mantova, and this was the best place we could have picked. This place is amazing. It offered a unique experience, and one that we will always remember. The hosts were fantastic and very helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. I can't say enough great things about it. We loved staying here and want to go back!!!!!

   The only difficulty was the multiple flights of stairs to our room on the 3rd floor. The ceilings are VERY high so this is a lot of steps. Unfortunately we had lots of luggage. However, I understand this is a historic building, and elevators are not practical. Just be aware if this might be a problem for accessibility. I'm sure the hosts would assist if requested.

   Bed and Breakfast - Palazzo Arrivabene If you are not planning to go to Mantova you should chanmge your olans and go there so that you can stay here. If you are going to Mantova you should plan your trip around staying here. The Palazzo is nothing short of superb. The Bini family are superb hosts who will do everything to make your stay perfect. I could not give them and the accommodation a high enough recommendation. Everything was absolutely first class and wonderful. We can't wait to go back.

   Everything wad perfect. The owners are very distinguished and charming. The place is incredible, you have the impression to live in the 15th century, amazing frescoes on the ceiling, old traditional furnitures, and the room quite and nice. And the best breakfast i have ever taste in my life, the cake from the house with typical sabayon ! delicious, fresh fruit and juices, a plenty of fresh viennoiseries, marmelade homemade, etc...

   Everything was perfect!! The Palazzo is 10 minutes' or less walk to just about everywhere a visitor to Mantua would like to see and go. It is a lovely old building, beautifully furnished. The owner is extremely helpful and knowledgeable as to Mantua's history and so forth and will make (excellent) suggestions as to where to eat and what to see. Breakfast is friendly (in the charming kitchen of the owner, who performs in an urbane manner as "host"); thus one feels as though one really were the guest of the family in the elegant Palazzo. The staff are efficient and pleasant and unobtrusive,; the style is relaxed, but elegant. They ask that there be no smoking in the bedrooms, but, for people who DO smoke, there is a very convenient and architecturally interesting upper terrace not far from the suites. Every comfort for the guest has been taken into consideration. This is truly a "5* B & B"!!

   This bed and breakfast is so unique and special. Your accommodation is in a part of a former medieval palace complete with authentic frescos adorning 20 ft high ceilings! The period furnishings adorn each room as you make your way to your bedroom. It is a quiet oasis just steps from the historical center of Mantova. The gracious hosts couln't be more welcoming and helpful. Their dining recommendations were perfect. I highly recommend this B&B!

   This is an amazing Palazzo with frescoed ceilings and huge grand rooms. Our bedroom was enormous and the bed comfortable. Signor Bini was a most gracious host and the WiFi worked well.

   Finding the place was not easy and they have a camera based system in Mantua that fines you if you enter the old town. When Signor Bini is not around nobody can speak even basic English, which makes things a bit difficult.

   The location is ideal, within easy walking distance of Sant'Andrea and Palazzo Ducale, but in the limited traffic zone so very little street noise. The rooms are large and clean. The bathrooms are also huge (by Italiian standards) and up-to-date. The breakfast is typical for Italy - pastries, fruits, juice and coffee. The owner, Claudio, was most helpful in providing guidance to restaurants etc. He speaks excellent Engilsh - and humored my broken Itallian.
