   The location of mendolito is stunning - the view of Etna is wonderful and we spent many a meal admiring the views! The pool is beautiful and the farm is so peaceful. The owners are really friendly and came round for pizza evening which was great fun! Would recommend buying the farm's oil and honey etc as they are very tasty.

   The house is more like a large barn with one big seating/sleeping area. Perfect for 2 or a small family, but a group of adults might find it tough to cope with the lack of privacy.

A non-paved road leads to Farmhouse Mendolito, a white house contrasting with the bright green of the surrounding wilderness.

From the pool there is a magnificent landscape that dominates the landscape Sicilian hinterland and going with the look you get to the top of the volcano. The landscape is evocative of ancient lava flows and thousands of prickly pear.

Farmhouse Mendolito consists of a kitchen, a huge living room of 80sqm with a large wooden dining table, 2 lofts that work as a bedroom, 3 double beds not divided by walls and two bathrooms.

The house is completely surrounded by terraces, furnished with table, chairs, a stone oven and barbecue.

Thanks to the two fireplaces, the accommodation lends itself very well for a week stay in fall or winter.

In fact, few know that there are lifts to Etna and the snow is very consistent in winter. Even on sunny winter days you can ski in the morning, enjoying a magnificent view over the Mediterranean Sea and in the same afternoon sunbathing on the beach.

The pool of the Farmhouse Mendolito is open from May 1 to October 31.
