   A most welcoming working farm. They were picking the olives and blocking the drive way when we arrived. Gorgeous farm with lots of horses, friendly dogs, sheep - we met two-hour old twin lambs. We picked fresh oranges for breakfast, received a welcoming gift of olive oil and fresh honey. The location is near the sea and we spent time in the small fishing villages near by aside from walking around on the farm.

   Appartement très difficile à trouver sur une hacienda immense sans repaire. On n'a vu personne durant notre séjour de 4 jours et la personne ressource était difficile à joindre à moins d'avoir un téléphone portable.On aurait apprécié qu'on nous fasse visiter l'hacienda durant notre séjour. Accueil froid et minimaliste. Avant d'arriver, contrairement à d'autres gîtes, on ne nous a pas envoyé l'itinéraire. Les propriétaires ne semblent pas se soucier de nous. Il y avait plein de fourmis dans la cuisine notamment !Le poêle à gaz ne fonctionnait même pas ! Ca ne vaut pas le prix payé. Décevant !!!

The deep valley carved by the San Calogero river hosts numerous archaeological remains from the "Castellucciana " civilization (pre-Greek period) and a delightful woodland rich in Mediterranean flavour.

Surrounded by greenery and citrus groves, the apartments of Farmhouse Tenuta San Calogero are in rural Sicilian style and are located near the stables.

The furnishings are period, while modern comforts are provided: each apartment has private bathroom, kitchen, TV, heating and air conditioning.
