Eugenio was the perfect host, from picking us up at the train station (it's a slug uphill to the apartment) and getting us back with all our luggage for departure (a hurried trip back to the apartment for forgotten luggage was just in time to make the train to Napoli!) Grazie, Eugenio! Wi-fi is being wired in for now; Eugenio went way out of his way to help us try to connect. Some gratis lemons from the orchard brought lemon pudding to the table for several nghts.Though it rained a bit during our stay, the wood fireplace brought some cheer to our stay. The dogs are noisy, but friendly, and quiet down quickly. Not a problem for us.

Very pleasant hosts, picked us up from the railway station and back on departure. Very friendly couple who presented us with fresh fruit from their garden. It provided a home atmosphere.

The flat was reasonably up to date with lots of caring little touches. The people who run this place are very nice. We were there for Christmas and the hosts had put in a Christmas tree and decorations. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we do cook a lot. The beds were comfortable and the flat was extremely clean.

The flat location is a little way out of the town. We didn't mind walking but it was of some concern that the roads were often dangerous for pedestrians. We would have liked better heating in the bathroom. It was quite a problem to have such a very small hot water cylinder. It wouldn't even give two of us a three minute shower each, and there were five of us! The host helped fix up the electrical situation but initially we could not run the washing machine, oven, heating and hot water simultaneously without causing the fuse to cut out. He rigged up an extension lead from his own home. Whilst the pictures on the net were correct, they did not show the surrounds: the pretty little patio pictured online was right up against their dog pen and we couldn't really use it because the dog kept barking at us.

We found the hospitality of our hosts excellent, they were extremely helpful and made our stay really enjoyable. The house was perfect and well equipped for two people but we thought it might be a bit small for a family with two children. We felt the location of the accomodation was perfect for us, just outside of the main thrust of Sorrento with a nice but steep walk home after some great pizzas. It was in a really good position for some great walking on the stunning Sorrento peninsula. All in all a great holiday was had. Paul and Pauline

We found the hospitality of our generous hosts to be first rate, we couldn't have asked for more! We very much enjoyed our stay and found Il Limoneto Di Laura to be a really handy base to discover the nearby sights . We highly recommend a stay at this apartment, but watch out for the uphill walk back from town.
