Avr. Valutation: 10/10Mi familia y yo hemos estado muy a gusto. Desde que llegamos Fabio, el dueño, nos acogió como en casa. El lugar fue perfecto para nuestras necesidades. Mis niños se sintieron muy a gusto. El lugar limpio, buen desayuno y realmente a cinco minutos de los Museos Vaticano y a una cuadra de la parada del metro. LUGAR ESTRATEGICO!!!!

Avr. Valutation: 8/10Clean rooms, towels and sheets changed mid stay(5 nights). Staff ,Fabio, very friendly and helpful with making calls for reservations and transportation to airport. Beds somewhat more comfortable than beds in other accomadations in Itlay.Quiet if windows kept closed at night because the B&B is in a residential neighborhood. Metro just down the street.
Very small bathroom. Breakfast area quiet small...
Location was fine to visit the Vatican but would have preferred to stay closer to the center of Rome.

Avr. Valutation: 10/10The room was newly renovated and VERY clean with its own bathroom, A/C and flat screen TV. It is located one short block from the metro A line and is very quiet. There were many food and drink selections for breakfast. And, the staff especially Fabio was attentive and efficient. SPECIAL NOTE: Once you have made your reservation, Fabio will respond asking for your arrival time. Be sure to either call or email him with this information ahead of your arrival. He is not on site and will need to meet you at the building to check you in.

Avr. Valutation: 9/10Die Wohnung (zwei Zimmer und ein Badezimmer) war supersauber, die Lage fast perfekt, in unmittelbarer Nähe von Vatican (10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Eingang ins Vatikanische Museum), der Gastgeber außerordentlich freundlich, seine Hinweise waren uns sehr hilfreich.

Avr. Valutation: 9/10Good place and practical room, no luxe but very clean and good services and comfort. This Bed & Breakfast - ABC, has good position (near to Vatican 7-minute walk / metro -2-min walk). I recommend this hotel for tourists.

Avr. Valutation: 9/10The location was perfect with a 2 min walk from the room to the local Metro station which took you directly to the central station in Rome. The room was clean and kept in good order. The staff were always pleasant and Fabio was a great host who could not do enough to make our stay an easy and full packed event from the outset by giving us directions on our arrival on how best to see the best parts that Rome has to offer.
Although our stay was comfortable it was dissapointing when we were asked to change room part of the way through our stay. The room we were moved to had the next rooms bathroom right against our beds head end and as the walls are obviously not very think meant that we could hear EVERY noise. There was also mention of a common area where we could watch TV and have WiFi, which although was provided in the rooms, was misleading as there was no such area. This however does not detract from the over all great service provided by Fabio and his staff and would thoroughly recommend ABC as a place to stay.

during the morning when guests wake up for the breakfast it is so noisy and almost impossible to sleep! the breakfast is so fresh.

Avr. Valutation: 9/10We had a wonderful stay in Rome, Fabio was very helpful, as we thought we was not going due to the Ash Cloud. The B-B is very near the Metro which is €1 to travel any where. ABC is also very near the Vatican about a 10min walk. Fabio arrange for his sister in law to met us at the airport and took us back on return, the B-B is very clean and the beds are very comfty, breakfast is help yourself, so if you wish to have a lay in you can make breakfast for your self, there is plenty of it you can also help yourself to coffee any time and there is a fridge which you can use at at any time. It is a very relaxed B-B and would stay there again. it has a lift as the B-B is onthe 3rd floor not a modern lift but it adds to the charm and it works. all in all we spent a very enjoyable time in Rome. There are plenty of bars and restraunts near and a supermarket just up the road. Thank you Fabio for a wonderful time in Rome and hope we shall return soon.

It was a little bit nosy in the morning probably due to the thin walls of the apartment. The breakfast lacked enough salty things.

Valutation: 8/10Very clean and nice place, the owner is very sympathic and always available to help and advise you - the neigbourhood is very pleasant, much cheaper than the center of the city and with many nice clothes shops ! very nice breakfast with fruit juice, wonderful lavazza coffee and fresh juices, fresh towels every day in the room - very quiet in the night - i will recommend this place surely
Much noise from the other guests in the morning (breakfast) as the doors are not isolated - i would recommend the owner to put a second door inside the room to stop the noise

Le stanze sono pulite e tranquile, lontano del rumore della strada (non sono del latto della strada). Il proprietario è molto simpatico. La prima collazione con cornetti, caffè etc. è ottima. -------------------------- B&B très bien situé et à proximité du centre historique. Les chambres sont propres et calmes, donnant sur une cour intérieure. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et le petit déjeuner est bon et copieux.

Avr. Valutation: 10/10This B&B met all of our expectations. It was within a twenty minute walk of the Vatican, one block from the Metro and in a safe neighborhood. The owner, Fabio, was on hand to greet us, even though we were quite delayed in arriving. He was most helpful as a tour concierge to maximize our short visit. His amenities were excellent, such as coffee or capuccino and snacks available 24 hours. He also arranged transportation by private shuttle from the B&B door to and from the airport and to the port at Civatavecchia. The room was clean with modern facilities.
We returned to ABCB&B for one night after a week in Malta, but were given a different room. This room had a queen size bed as did the previous week's, but the matress was thin and on a board. It was most uncomfortable sleeping. Our arrival at ABCB&B was delayed because the general instructions suggested that using the train and the Metro from the airport might be the preferred transportation. With four heavy suitcases and a walking impediment, this proved to be most difficult. There were long walks to the train station from the airport and from the downtown train station to the Metro, with many stairs and few escalators or lifts. Also, whereas ABCB&B was only one block from the Metro, the street name was unmarked, so we had difficulty finding our way to the B&B for that one block. A shopkeeper near the B&B showed us the location, a few steps from where we were, but dragging our bags over the cobblestones. The second trip from the airport to ABCB&B was door to door using Fabio's recommended shuttle, and we would recommend no other means of transportation except for local sightseeing.

Avr. Valutation: 10/10La ubicación era excelente para lo que yo quería que era estar cerca de San Pedro y tiene el metro justo en la esquina, que facilita mucho el transporte al resto de la ciudad. El personal fue muy atento en todo momento, Fabio incluso hizo algo muy especial por mi que fue conseguirme la entrada para la audiencia Papal, la cual me entregaron al momento del check in para que pudiera asistir. Todos fueron muy muy atentos y cálidos, una excelente experiencia, si regreso a Roma seguro me alojaré otra vez en ABC B&B
No creo que haya habido ningún aspecto realmente negativo, lo único que diría es que las puertas de las habitaciones no están hechas a prueba de sonido, entonces se escucha a la gente cuando entra y sale del apartamento, así como cuando tocan el timbre, a veces en medio de la noche, pero es un detalle, realmente no molesta mucho.

Taxi was arranged by Fabio to and from the airport and fresh towels were provided when asked. The linens were professioal cleaned and were nice and thick. Breakfast was very good and included alot of food. Expresso and fresh fruit and yohurt was available at any time. Location was excellent. Just steps to the Metro and a 10 min. walk to the Vatican. Restaurants were everywhere and the prices were competitive. We felt quite safe walking in this area. We'll stay here again....
On our first night, we stayed in one of the rooms that has been recently upgraded ant it was very nice and fresh. But we were moved into bigger rooms that had not been recently upgraded. They were okay but not as fresh as the other one. Also, the shower stall had mold...not enough to really worry about but not as clean as I would have liked.

There were leaks in bathroom and mold. It had been leaking for some time and hadn't been fixed even though there was continual water on the floor. Evidently there are 2 separate floors in this B & B. One is nicer and newer and the other is older and not so nice. We got the not so nice and were disappointed in the accomodations.

The room was beautiful and even though we arrived early we were allowed to use the room straight away, which was great after a long night of traveling. There was snacks and drinks available 24 hours and we felt very at home. I would stay there again whenever in Rome. Also we stayed with my 3yr old and there were no problems, for those looking to stay somewhere with a small child.
Nothing it was a wonderful stay.

The appartment, although small, was very functional. New furnishings, great and comfortable bed, working AC, working TV, great water pressure. Fabio and Lissette were great hosts and provided us with lots of great information about Rome. Breakfast was good, and we loved having the flexibility to find fresh fruit and juices at the refrigerator at all times. My husband loved the espresso machine!

You can tell the staff is concerned about the accommodation and the guests. Let's hope they are able to extend the B&B to another floor such that they can provide more guests with a comfortable stay in Rome. The B&B exists of two floors with seperate front-doors connected to the shared elevator shaft; we had a key for the floor where my parents stayed and they had one for our floor, so I would say: excellent service.

The breakfast was very poor. Just croissant, butter, marmelade and coffe.

( He says he doesn't speak very good english, but he does )The B&B is in an awesome location especially if you are exploring Rome on foot and via public transportation. The underground Metro is just around the corner, as are the buses, taxi stand, shops, restaurants, gelato...... A short walk brings you to Vatican City. The room and bathroom was clean and bright. The breakfast was substantial and delicious with fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice, cereal, fresh pastries, rolls with jams - there is also a small kitchen which is accessible to guest 24 hours and where you can make coffee, tea, cappuccino's, etc... as well as help yourself to what's in the refrigerator!! There is a small computer available to guest as well as free wireless internet.... The B&B is on the fourth floor and there is an elevator to take you and your luggage up.... So, our experience was awesome and when I return to Rome again, this is where I'll stay!
A little bit loud at night being as it's in a building with other residents coming and going, too, but to be expected in the city. Plus, if you're walking everywhere like we were, you're so exhausted anyways! Our room was quite protected from street noise as the window looked in to a courtyard.
You should be sure to email Fabio and ask for specific directions from where you are arriving from as it's a little hard to find from the street, but he gave us excellent directions and was waiting for us when we rang the bell! There isn't a sign on the outside of the building, but it says "bed and breakfast" where the tenants name would be on the doorbell panel by the door.

Myself and my family were very frustrated when we were changed from one room to other without any notice. Our belongings were moved without our agreement. When we arrived we opened the door of what it used to be our bedroom and we were surprised to see that other people's stuff was there. We had to open other bedrooms (all bedrooms have the same key)to find out where our lugagge was. We saw this as an abuse. Despide everything else worked fine for us, I would NOT reccomend this place since the they went too far moving our belongings without any notice nor agreement from us.

Inoltre, a disposizione 24/24 ore un cucinino dove fare caffè, thè, bere succhi di frutta, o mangiare frutta, yogurt e fette biscottate. E un dispenser di acqua potabile sia calda che fredda.
Dal sito Internet sembra tutto molto bello e rinnovato, mentre in realtà la struttura è un vecchio appartamento ristrutturato in parte (riverniciato e con bagni nuovi). Inoltre, la colazione lascia un pò a desiderare (le brioches venivano impiattate la sera prima per cui la mattina seguente erano acide).

manca il bidet! le pareti sono sottili e se c'è gente che fa casino potreste avere un sottofondo al vostro soggiorno, ma la cosa è superabile! fabio è un pò assente ma è disponibilissimo. per il resto è stato un soggiorno fantastico, peccato aver smarrito la fotocamera!

The owner of the place , Fabio , was very helpful about all the questions that we asked. We had a nice and clean room. There was always cofee and tea that we could drink and yogurts and fruits in the fridge. The price is appropriate. We had a good time. Its a worth place to stay in.
The only thing that bothered were a thin walls between the rooms, so that you can hear everything from your neighbours. The breakfast was poor.

Avr. Valutation: 9/10I stayed in three different rooms over two differnt stays. Twice the beds were great and once it was not. The staff are excellent and the location is wonderful right next to the subway stop and walking distance to St. Peter's. I would stay here again.

Avr. Valutation: 10/10The location is very close to Ottoviano and fantastic for the Vatican and for getting the Metro to other places in Rome. There are some good places to eat and good bars nearby. The Vatican and St Peter's Square is only about 5 mins walk away for an evening stroll round the Vatican at night. There are some good shops for clothes, Gelati and for essentials nearby. The B&B is generous in its breakfast and juice, fruit, yoghurt, and coffee is available from the fridge all day and night. The rooms are air conditioned by remote control so one can regulate the temperature for your own room.

We had arranged to arrive very early from a long-haul flight so we could freshen up (paying for the extra, previous, night) and we were expected and accommodated. Email responses from the B&B owner were always prompt and friendly. Thoroughly recommended.

Valutation: 10/10we're more than satisfied with this b&b, the location is just perfect, staff were friendly, our room was clean&tidy every day, the breakfast was delicious&enough, i didn't see it in the description, but the b&b is on the 4th floor, but don't worry, there is an elevator in the building! would recommend to anyone and will stay here again, if we'll ever get back to Rome.

The floors have not been washed in a long time and the courtins need washing We did not stay the b&b which is 2 blocks away from the apt.
The shower is about 3' feet by 3'feet the hot water runs out after the second person.The kitchen is small we had to ask for a toaster.The breakfast consistes of packaged things like filled donuts. we bought our own stuff and cooked.It was on the 5 floor and the elevator did not work for 2 days. No stove electric hot plate to cook on.VERY IMPORTANT IT IS CASH ONLY ON THE BALANCE AND IF YOU CHOOSE THAT GO TO THE EXCHANGE FOR THE DEBET.IT WAS 1.56 DOLLORS FOR ONE UERO,PRICY.If it were not for the noise it is great and a little wash.

Avr. Valutation: 8/10The location was very convenient to the Metro (1/2 block away)and bus stops. We were a short walk to the Vatican. Great to be that close as we had an 10:00 a.m. tour our 2nd morning there. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a continental breakfast on your own in small kitchen down the hallway. Fabio and George went over and beyond in accomodating us. Fabio called us to make sure we knew where we were going and could get in. When we decided to stay a fourth night and found out there was no availably at ABC, Fabio made quite a few calls to find us accomodations, called the proprietor and made the reservation for us at a place just a few blocks away. George helped with luggage, walked us over and saw that our tranfer went smoothly. They were both very personable and pleasant and we enjoyed chatting with each. We were very satisfied with our stay at the ABC Bed and Breakfast and would to stay there again on our next visit to Rome.

The location is not ideal if you enjoy the nightlife of the city centre of Rome... unless you are keen on nightwalks, buses or the construction of the metro line is finished.

So we had the possibility to have a short break in the afternoon which sometimes was necessary after several hours of walking. The rooms were simple and clean. And not to forget, the price was really good!! In case we visit Rome again, my friends and I would again choose ABC Bed & Breakfast. We really enjoyed the tour.
Nothing serious to complain about. The breakfast room was a bit small (we were a group of 5 friends) and the breakfast not very comprehensive. But it was okay for the price. Besides, in the near neighbourhood there are cafe-bars where you can have breakfast if you want.

Avr. Valutation: 7/10It is a good place at a reasonable price. Do not expect big luxury but it is comfortable and luminous. The kitchen is very clean and you can use it to cook whatever you want. The staff (in particular Sonia) is very kind. They have bottled water for free.

nel portate un gruppo di vecchie francesi, ad occupare l'alloggio, le stesse si sono insediate senza alcun decoro anche in bagno,buttandomi letteralmente fuori!!!!!

Avr. Valutation: 9/10The staff was very friendly, helpful and serviceminded. The location was excellent and the beds were ok! The possibility of using the kitchen made you feel "at home" and you could grab a cup of coffee whenever you wanted one!
The "breakfast" wasn't really satisfying. As a Scandinavian person I prefer a sandwich, youghurt, fruit and for example cheese and ham and we got a sweet croissant, some kind of hard bread and marmelade. Too much sugar for me, but we bought our own breakfast and used the fridge so it was good.

Ottima la posizione del bed&breakfast, situato vicinissimo all'ingresso dei musei vaticani e alla fermata della metropolitana. Anche la camminata verso il centro e` piuttosto breve.
Povera la colazione, in quanto comprendeva delle merendine preconfezionate e il caffe` che il cliente si prepara con la moka, oltre al fatto che le stoviglie disponibili a mio parere non possono essere sufficienti per i clienti di tutte le stanze.

Chiamarla colazione è un eufemismo, sin strada ci sono decine di bar e ottime panetterie/pasticcerie, costava tanto organizzarsi con qualcuno di loro per avere almeno dei cornetti freschi.
Per i primi 3 giorni non si puliscono le camere, vabbeh....
Ottima posizione, ma ragazzi alla sera dal cortile interno si sente il delirio!

The breakfast is poor. No fresh breadrolls, no cheese, no meat, only 1 croissant and some crackers/biscuit per person is just nog enough. Quality of the croissant were very poor.

Ritengo che nell'insieme il rapporto quialità prezzo possa ritenersi medio anche in relazione agli aspetti negativi descritti a seguire. Va comunque detto che ci riteniamo soddisfatti del soggiorno per l'autonomia che ci ha comunque consentito la sistemazione.
Gli aspetti negativi:
a) scarsa la qualità offerta per la colazione: per i sei giorni 2lt latte e 3 confezioni di brioche fornite all'inizio del soggiorno oltre ad un pacco fette biscottate, caffè e zucchero.
b) lenzuola ma soprattutto asciugamani cambiati una sola volta. Il neo a mio avviso sono solo gli asciugamani, con il caldo afoso di quei giorni ci si va la doccia tutti i giorni!!
c) scarso livello di manutenzione dell'alloggio e arredamento veramente scarno
Occorre precisare l'aspetto positivo della assoluta autonomia offerta dalla sistemazione (è stato possibile cucinarci la cena) e dalla disponibilità delle persone che rappresentano la società.

Acceso a la cocina, desayuno selfservice y tu lavas los platos. Acceso a teléfono local e información (sección amarilla, guías de viaje, etc). Ubicado en 4o piso con elevador. Excelente atención. No hay personal permanente en el B&B y debes localizarlos por mobil.
El último día, antes de las 11 am y sin que hubieramos entregado llaves sacaron nuestras maletas de la habitación. No pasó a mayores, pero deben cuidar ese aspecto.

Breakfast (a general comment). What's wrong with fresh croissants in stead of candy, added with a variety of fruits and freshly squeezed fruitjuice in a room with chairs and tables? It looks so poor in a Bed & breakfast formula

Avr. Valutation: 8/10The rooms and the apartment are very good with lot's of space for 2 families and 3 children. Although the pictures did not correspond to what we ere expecting, it is really very confortable and clean. The front view is also very nice. It is very near Vatican City and there is the Metro and bus station very near.
The breakfast is not good (very "plastic"). We were expecting fresh bread every morning. Instead, we had chocolate croissans from the supermarket, coffee and orange juice.

I feel that for the price we paid, the breakfast was quite poor and we had to sort it ourselves something which should be notated when the accomodation is advertised.

Avr. Valutation: 8/10The price for a room in the market we were going to (location, quality, timing) was amazing. The room was clean, the staff very nice. Great location to do all things Vatican City.
Breakfast was self serve, packaged goods. We ate them, we liked them, and it's Europe, so expectations should be low on the little lunch. But we went and got coffees and pastries at a street cafe with the romans. Not a lot of very good, non-touristic restaurants around. We found one nice one, and ate like tourists the rest of the time.

Avr. Valutation: 8/10Host was very friendly and helpfull, and responded to our small requests with a smile and diligency. Metro is very close by and it's in a safe, quiet neighborhood (do not listen to people telling you that it's noisy around Vatican at night, it's dead quiet after nine PM).
