The host was terrific, most helpful and breakfast is great. It is charming that he makes his own jam using the fruits from his own garden. I love it!

It is inconvenient to drive there because the entrance is really really tight even for a small Fiat. But, generally roads at the Como area are very tight, and it is really not the owner's fault that the entrance to the road which he lives is really really naroow. I think the problem can be resolved, if you park at the train station and take a very short walk from there to the house. It is very convenient. If you are taking a train to Lierna, then it is even more convenient. Also, you can hear the train from the rooms, but that did not bother me.

The hosts (the owners of the villa) were very nice and helpful providing us all the information that we needed (maps, trains timetable, touristic info about the surrondings). The owner himself welcomed us and also made sure that our staying will be a best one. He borrowed us a big umbrella when it was raining... The breakfast was delicious (fresh croissants and other local bakery products, natural canned juice, homemade jams, nutella, coffee, milk, etc.) Actually I was feeling more like visiting some good friends than staying in B&B, which was great!

Host Daniele very helpful and friendly, gave us many laughs and made the holiday memorable! He would provide breakfast to our tastes and we felt very comfortable in his house. Daniele was very kind, even carrying our (huge!) bag onto the train when we left. Rooms were great size and having a balcony was great, Daniele was happy for us to have our own food on the balcony when we wanted. Approx 1 minute from train station which was very useful.

The town was small and not sutible if you wanted to be based in a lively town. however it is perfect if you are looking for tranquility and peace away from the crowds. The town has a lovely restaurant called ?sotto vente which was breathtaking at sunset, amazing lake views. took approx 30mins to get to bellagio by boat, lovely journey.

Wonderful stay, just wish it was longer. We were helped out from the start and it was gorgeous place, comfortable rooms and reasonable price. The restaurant we were recommended on the lake was exceptional.Do not hesitate to book this villa.

Only bad thing was the access to the villa. The driveway was difficult as it was very tight to fit our car through.

Härlig utsikt från balkongen. Mysigt rum. Trevlig värd som promenerade med oss för att visa en bra restaurant.

För att kunna parkera på gården måste man köra genom en mycket smal tunnel. Det gick på håret med en Fiat Punto. Värt att tänka på om man kommer i en bredare bil...

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Casa Nini - Daniele Zoofito was the perfect host and he makes the most delicious home made (and home grown) kiwi-fruit jam(!) - presented at the breakfast table. We were initially running late to check in at the B&B - due to a mishaps with a flat tyre - Daniele was more than accommodating when I rang to notify him of our late arrival, offering to book us a table at the local restaurant Sotto Vento (also highly recommended), so we were well fed before arriving at Casa Nini. The next morning he had printed out for us the address and location of a local Garage for the purchase of the replacement tyre. Thanks again Daniele for your wonderful hospitality and classic sense of humor. Lierna is a beautiful smaller town on the Lakeside, a stones throw from captivating Varenna and glamorous Bellagio, so this B&B is therefore in an ideal location. Very highly recommended!

Staff was excellent at Casa Nini. Daniel provided really good suggestions for things to do in the area as well as good recommendations on places to eat. The location was extremely close to the train station - directly off the platform! Location was also close to the lake as well. The entire house along with our room was very clean.

We had a great stay at Casa Nina. This is a really lovely little B&B and in a nice quiet location. Daniele was a great friendly host with plenty of local info. The town itself is rather small, but has a bar, coffee shop and restaurant down on the lake edge and close to the town Varenna to get the ferry over to Bellagio etc. I prefer this area of the lake than Como town, south of the lake.
