   The staff were very friendly and assisted me greatly, as a first time traveller to Sicily, on what to see and how to see it. Globetrotter is close to the centre of Catania but still relatively quiet. Breakfast was terrific too.

   la posizione è molto centrale (a pochi passi dal duomo), l' appartamento è carino e il personale è decisamente gentile.

   UNICO aspetto negativo: la mancanza di un condizionatore!!

   I have an extremely horrible experience in Catania that I want to share the experience with the all of the travelers. Before I plan to take the trip in Catania, I search the living place through ¡¥BBplantent.it¡¦. In the website, I searched the Inn, Globetrotter. As the description of the Inn, it promoted that they can offer a nice and comfortable double room with air-conditioner, DVD, wireless connection and hair dryer, daily cleaning of the room.If you think that you have all the above facilities, you are absolutely wrong. The Inn consists of two buildings. The lower ground of the main building is the reception office where the air-conditioner, DVD, kitchen and computer are only installed there. However, the living block just opposite to the main building. The outlook is very old and dirty. When you go upstairs and open the door, you can find a big room without any windows. Two double rooms are divided by a blocking wall. There is only one small and narrow washroom that should share with two double rooms. The most incredible thing is that there is only one electric fan shared with two double rooms. Although you ask for one more electric fan, the house owner (the man) will not give a kindly help. We only use one electric fan for 3 hot nights.If you want to take a cold shower, that is a right place for you. It is because it cannot provide any hot water in the bathroom. So horrible! One more thing should remind you that you cannot put the tissue paper in the toilette. It is a great joke that I never heard it before. And the bed is too soft that you also feel very uncomfortable. If you have a backbone problem, I advised you that bring the medicine with you. In addition, the environment is not safe and dirty. The room is facing with the construction area and garage. During the midnight and the morning, there are full of noisy sounds. At the night, you need to close all the windows because you need to protect yourself away of the criminal. So you need to sleep in the hot, dark and dull enclosed space. Although you close all the windows, the mosquitoes and fleas can also sleep with you. Every morning, you can find a lot of red spots and itching areas around yours legs, arms and also on your face. Moreover, there is without any cleaning service. We lived here for three days, nobody will take care of you. So your rubbish bin is extremely horrible full. Everywhere is full of dust. At the same time, the balcony is full of used cigarettes. How to image such worst environment can welcome the guest? The only thing that they can offer you is the rich breakfast. If you only want to take a rich breakfast rater than all the services, you can choose that inn. I frankly advised all of the travelers that should make a wisely decision that DO NOT choose this unbelievable and horrible INN, Globetrotter.
