    Everything: the house, the garden, the attention of Laura and Jerry, the breakfast, the room and bathroom...
    I can only think on one little downside: they don't speak english (or spanish), only italian. I would have loved to talk more with them about the town and surroungings, or about Laura's art, for example.
    Maybe next time we will know a bit of italian ;)

    Il Bogno ist ein sehr schönes Haus. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das gesamte Umfeld sind sehr geschackvoll eingerichtet. Schöne Assessoires, zum größten Teil von Frau Cataneo selbst künstlerisch erstellt, machen den Aufenthalt in Il Bogno sehr angenehm. Frau Laura Cataneo hat sich sehr um uns gekümmert und uns jeden Morgen ein ausgewogenes Frühstück serviert, das wir bei schönstem Sonnenschein im Garten mit Blick über den See genossen haben. Wir sind mit dem Motorrad angereist und konnten das Motorrad kostenlos in der Garage des Hauses abstellen. Das Haus liegt für Wanderfreunde sehr günstig in der Nähe des Comer See Wanderweges. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig etwas abgelegen und man sollte entweder mobil oder gut zu Fuß sein.
    Der Ort Lierna hat nicht sehr viel touristisches zu bieten, es gibt kaum Gastronomie und auch kaum Zugang zum See. Wenn man hier Urlaub macht sollte man entweder die italienische Sprache beherrschen oder sich in Englisch verständigen können.

    Friendly service, the owner even spoke some english. Fantastic breakfast. A very cosy and beautiful house with a view to mountains only about a mile away. Some great hiking paths practicly next to the house.

    Der Aufenthalt war rundum zufriedenstellend. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, geräumig und sehr sauber. Ein separates, grosses Badezimmer, nur für uns, gab es auch. Das Haus, die Gastgeberin und auch die Gartenanlage haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Alles war sehr liebevoll für uns vorbereitet. Das Frühstück im Garten mit frischen Feigen selbst gebackenem Kuchen, Müsli, Kaffee, Tee gekochten Eiern und frischem Saft machten die Abreise nicht leicht. Wir werden sicher wieder einmal einige Tage dort verbringen.
    Die Anfahrt ist nicht ganz einfach da das Haus etwas abgelegen ist.

    Laura was very helpful in answering any questions we had about the area and how best to get around. Also, her dinner recommendation was excellent (we went there all three evenings).
    The breakfast is not what we are accustomed to at B and B's where we've stayed before. Usually there are cereal choices as well as various fruits.
    Also, there are usually 'hot' choices such as: pancakes and/or eggs (several ways), cooked bacon/sausage/ham, etc.

    la atención de laura ha sido excepcional, más si consideramos que viajamos con un niño pequeño y siempre supone mayor escándalo y ajetreo para ellos que si fueramos solo dos adultos. hemos podido hacer udo de las instalaciones: habitación, jardín...y en todo momento han sido muy serviciales y atentos para agradarnos la estancia; además, os dan un increible desayuno
    lo único es que desde la habitación no hay vistas al lago, si desde una pequeña parte del jardín.

    The B&B looks newly renovated and very stylishly done by Laura...the owner. Laura is a wonderful person and makes you feel like you are her only guests, ie complete 1:1 treatment. The room was very clean, spacey and easly fitted a bed for our 4 month baby, which Laura had set up. We also had access to a living room, kitchen and the garden outside, which made us feel good, ie not confound to the bedroom. Highly recommened to any travel in Lierna Lake Como.

    the pension was very comfortable and because we had a car it was convenient to the ferries. the pension owner was helpful with everything and we particularly enjoyed the welcome drink on arrival after a very long drive from germany. i would recommend pension to all my friends in australia. thank you

    We were exceptionally happy with the whole experience at Il Bogna. We were welcomed by Laura with great friendliness and were looked after wonderfully well in her home. It was well appointed, clean, fresh and interesting. The breakfasts were wonderful. it was well worth the effort of negotiating the narrow local streets and all part of the experience!

    This artist's home is lovely, the setting tranquil. We felt totally relaxed and enjoyed our stay completely. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B. We are already planning a return visit. The B&B sits above Lierna, but signs and directions are easy to follow.

    The owner is very kind and helpful, the location is a little difficult to find but laura owner send us directions via email which were very helpful. Laura makes a great host very hospitable. I would stay there again. Great breakfast. Great location picturesques and peaceful.

    It is a very nice place to stay. Location is super and very local. We had our little son with us and we could use the kitchen when necessary to make him food - this was excellent. The house is full of beautifull pictures and other art - very interesting. Breakfast was very good. And the owner is very helpful and such a nice charming lady - we will come back to the place.

    Großzügiges, ruhiges Grundstück mit toller Sicht auf den Comer See. Die sehr schönen Gästezimmer sowie der gemeinsam genutzte Eingangsbereich sind dekoriert mit der eigenen künstlerischen Note der Gastgeberin. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Das Frühstück variiert täglich, aufgedeckt wird nach Absprache und Wunsch der Gäste. Kommunikation auch auf Englisch möglich. Für jene, die den Comer See zum Baden nutzen möchten, ist eine Liegewiese zu Fuß erreichbar (ca. 15-20 Min.).

    Der Aufenthalt war sehr entspannend. auch wenn wir nur für eine Nacht da waren, wurden wir sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Die Lage ist sehr schön, mit Blick auf den Comer See. Die Hausherrin gab uns noch einen tollen Tipp für das Abendessen in einem nahegelgenen Ort.

    We were entirely satisfied with our stay. Our hostess was helpful and pleasant. It was a quiet and peaceful location. The quality of the structure and furnishings were of high quality and artistic taste. We were impressed.

    La proprietaria è una persona gentile e piacevole, sempre a disposizione. Le camere sono splendide e tranquille. La colazione ottima. Il B&B si trova a pochi minuti di auto dagli imbarchi di Varenna. Per raggiungerlo però seguite le indicazioni della proprietaria, almeno per gli ultimi metri, i navigatori non bastano (ma si può sempre chiedere in giro)!

    La struttura è molto bella, le camere, i bagni e tutta la casa sono curati nei particolari dal buon gusto dalla gentile e riservata padrona di casa che è una pittrice. La colazione, stagione permettendo, è all'aperto, in un giardino da favola con vista sulle montagne.
    La colazione per noi è stata buona ma esclusivamente dolce, di tipo nazionale e senza prodotti tipici, noi avremmo preferito una colazione con prodotti tipici del luogo tipo qualche formaggio o salume. Il B&B è un pò difficile da trovare, il navigatore tom-tom si perde poco prima, ma chiedendo li vicino siamo arrivati senza fatica.
