    Maurizio was very helpful in advising us on how to travel in from Fiumoncino Airport on the regional metro line to Travestere, and showed us bus routes and excellent local restaurants. We loved staying in Testaccio - excellent local market, authentic Roman neighbourhood away from the tourist trail, yet beside the mighty Tibor with bohemian Trastevere on the other side.Easy bus routes to the iconic piazzas and monuments. We spent two nights at La Residenza Roma on arrival and returned for three nights after three weeks in Tuscano. Va Bene Maurizio
    Rooms weren't cleaned. TV channels very limited.

    L'appartamento era molto curato e accogliente. Il proprietario sempre molto disponibile e gentile anche per esigenze non prettamente di sua competenza. La vicinanza a Trastevere permette di uscire a piedi anche la sera , soprattutto nel week end. Essendo relativamente vicino al centro abbiamo potuto girare per tutta la città senza mai utilizzare i mezzi!! La casa ha contribuito a rendere il soggiorno un vero successo!!:)

    The owner is extremely helpful and very nice. The DIY breakfast was perfect for us as we were able to help ourselves when we wanted to rather than attend between particular times. The small kitchen was also great as we were able to refrigerate our lunch supplies and, more importantly, keep the beers cool! The location is a good base from which to see Rome. It's very easy to get a bus or walk into the centre or Vatican City. It's also a short walk over the river to Trastevere, which is a great place to spend the evening. The room itself was very pleasant and nicely decorated with period objects. It was a fantastic place to stay and we'd definitely stay there again.
    Although the immediate location is a good base from which to visit the city, and has a great local atmosphere, it's not such a great area for bars. We personally found that Trastevere was better for this. However, as it was easy to reach Trastevere from Testaccio, this is a very minor negative point.

    Alloggio particolarmente accogliente e situato in un bel quartiere, a tre min a piedi dalle fermate che portano ovunque. Siamo stati accolti molto bene dal proprietario il quale, dopo averci spiegato tutto nel particolare, ci ha lasciato vivere il nostro soggiorno in autonomia.

    Il bed and breakfast è situato in una posizione strategica, tale da permettere di raggiungere le varie parti della città in poco tempo e molto facilmente. La stanza è molto confortevole, spaziosa e silenziosa. Inoltre disponibilissimo e gentilissimo Maurizio, il proprietario della struttura, il quale è sempre a disposizione del cliente nell'offrire qualsiasi tipo di informazione.

    Molto accogliente si tratta di una serie di mini appartamenti, con cucinino, bagno spazioso ovviamente interno, e una confortevole camera da letto con zona tv e divano. zona calma ma a due passi da fermate( bus) che portano ovunque!

    We are a young couple from Athens Greece. We really enjoyed our accomodation in Bed & Breakfast - La Residenza A Roma. The room was very clean and spacious. The air condition system was great (very important as we were in the middle of the summer). The location was great, because it was next to the bus station and only 15 minutes walk to the metro station (pyramide). [If you take the bus it is only two stops to the metro station, as most of the buses stop in the metro station]. However, the best and the most important part of our accomodation was Mr Mauricio, the owner.At first, he speaks english fluently. Secondly, he gave us plenty advice about how we can go from the airport to the hotel.When we arrived there he gave us a map of Rome and made us many plans. He also recomended super markets, restaurants, places to visit and go out at night. He was very very helpful and if we ever come back to Rome, this hotel will be our first choice. It was also very close to Transtevere, so we didn't have to take a taxi in the middle of the night to return to the hotel.
    The breakfast was poor [only some little croissants and plenty of milk, orange juice and yogurts]

    Within walking distance to historical objects. Also within walking distance of 5 minutes there were several possibilities to take a bus.
    There was some light problems with hot bath water but the landlord could fix it promptly.

    WIJ zijn in La voldaan Residenza A Roma Vrienden geweest van 6 mei t / m 9 mei.En Zeer Tevreden over Het Verblijf, de locatie en de hulpvaardige / gastvrije eigenaar. De prijs / kwaliteit Verhouding is prima. Alles was schoon en de bedden prima. Maurizio, graag TOT EEN volgende Keer ps. h Het ontbijt bestaat uit zoetigheid ( yoghurt,melk,sap, cakejes en granenkoeken ) maar als je van hartig houd kun je dat bij de supermarkt om de hoek halen. ( wij vonden het meer dan genoeg zo )

    Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in Rom.Das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss stimmte.Gute Lage in Trastevere fussläufig zu fast alllen Sehenswürdigkeiten Bushaltestelle fast vor der Tür.Vielen Dank an Mr Corvino(Der Inhaber) der uns tolle Tips und Infos gab.(welcher Bus?wo kann man gut essen?Wegbeschreibungen usw.)Wir kommen gerne wieder.
    Das einzige was wir zu bemängeln hätten: es war immer alles sehr sauber auch im Bad , bis auf die Dusche wo leichter Schimmel war und der Duschvorhang stockte.Ab und an mal einen neuen Duschvorhang aufzuziehen kann ja nicht die Welt kosten.Sonst war alles ok.

    Great location of the apartment. You can walk anywhere in downtown Rome. We never had to take a bus or subway (we are in our 30"s) . Maurisio is a great host/owner of the apartment. He gave us a great map of Rome and went through all the sights worth seeing and restaurants in teh neighborhood. All the restaurants he recommended were fantastic and not expensive! Maurision was willing to answer any questions. Very good size room and bathroom.
    Bathroom robes should be updated and shower curtan was not clean, which was not pleasant.

    Hi, location is very good, very easy to get downtown, shipments going very well in the area. A quiet, which is in the neighborhood supermarket, restaurant, pizza shop, worth stood there. It comes from the hair dryer to stove, air conditioning, internet. The only problem I had was that TV did not work ok trailer living, work on the radio:).

    The location of the room was very good. The man who held the B&B was very simpatic and explain us with patience the places to go and visit in Roma. The breakfast was also incluse. I will return in this B&B without any problems the next time!

    tutto bello! location perfetta sul lungo Tevere, di fronte a Porta Portese, a pochi passi da Trastevere....cosa volere di più? Anche se leggermente decentrata, è situata una zona tutta da scoprire a 5 minuti dal centro. Camera omniconforts pulitissima, accoglienza e disponibilità del proprietario senza limiti....siamo state benissimo, ideale per soggiorni che vanno anche oltre il classico fine settimana.....consigliato a tutti. Sono abituata a viaggiare e, in tutta onestà, è capitato spesso di spendere molto di più per ricevere molto, ma molto di meno sotto ogni punto di vista.....

    la nostra permanenza presso il Bed & Breakfast - La Residenza A Roma è stata decisamente memorabile. ottimo il trattamento riservato sin dal momento della prenotazione e fino al check out della stanza. la struttura è molto confortevole, pulita, spaziosa e finemente arredata. il servizio accoglienza e informazioni riservato dal titolare sono stati graditissimi ed utilissimi. raramente si riceve un trattamento così di valore, anche e sopratutto dal punto di vista relazionale. ottimo davvero!!! DECISAMENTE DA CONSIGLIARE

    La casa è molto accogliente e calda, bene ammobiliata e dotata di tutto l'essenziale per trascorrere pochi giorni come me, ma anche forse per un periodo un pò più lungo. Infatti avevo a mia disposizione la stanza con bagno e un cucinotto bene attrezzato per la colazione. Mi è sembrato avere un apparamentino privato, indipendente poichè il proprietario non vive all'interno della struttura. Essa è sita su uno dei lungotevere più famosi di Roma e nelle zone viciniori c'è trastevere e porta portese.

    Realemente increible. Su dueño es muy atento, y esta todo en excelentes condiciones. Lo unico mas o menos es la ubicacion, que no es un barrio feo, al contrario...muy lindo, pero medio lejos. Deben preguntar en seguida sobre los omnibus al dueño, que son muy rapidos y efectivos. En general excelente. lo recomendamos.

    Our stay @La Resinza A Roma was the best experience we had in Rome-The owner Mauricio Corvino was so very accommodationg, gracious ,helpfull host-we couldn't ask for better.After our stay in Rome @ L.R.A.Roma we went on to another city@ met with such bad service that we are certain to book our next trip to Rome@L.R.A.Roma again &again-it's well worth the time,it's centralized so very well& Mr. Corvino's suggestions were as good as having your own personal tour guide-it was hard to part with the place&move on.We'll be back for sure!!!

    Il b&b è nuovo, molto pulito e soprattutto arredato con gusto estremamente personale e raffinato.Solitamente per questo prezzo si trovano dei tristi b&b spartani.E poi Testaccio è un quartiere autentico e vivace.A piedi si raggiunge in pochi minuti Trastevere,Porta Portese,Piazza Venezia e tante zone bellissime di Roma.Lo consiglio assolutamente!

    The neighborhood was authentic Rome. Very real, not touristy. Open air market two blocks from B&B. Host was very welcoming, took the time to show us a map and help plan our sightseeing for Rome. Had good recommendations for restaurants and non-touristy hangouts. Apartment was clean and roomy. Would stay here again and would recommend to friends. Great value for the money.
    Had to haul out own trash - no housekeeping. Breakfast needed better pastries, but was otherwise adequate.

    At walking distance you can use the metro and give you the possibility to visit whole Rome. After a busy day you can enjoy the quietness of the apartment. The apartment (room) is decorated trendy and gives the comfort you just need after a day visiting Rome.

Ein sehr netter und engagierter Besitzer - übertraf alle unsere Erwartungen und wird nun von uns als Geheimtipp gehandelt!! Lohnt sich unbedingt, sehr empfehlenswert!!! Alles sauber schick und wunderschön, nichts zu beanstanden!!! A very cosy apartment, which is wonderful furnitured and very nice!!! It is central, close to all public transport, nice areas in walking distance and just perfetto!!! Better and more than we expected and absolutely recommendable!!! You feel at home there right away and get a real Roman feeling! We loved it!!!

    I am satisfied of my stay in "La Residenza a Roma". It is not very far from the city center (+/- 1km from la piazza della bocca della verità and +/- 2km from piazza Venezia and monument of Vittorio Emmanuele II). You can get there very quickly with the bus. I was welcomed very kindly. The room is rather quiet. I also liked the fact that you can find near the B&B shops and restaurants frequented mostly (almost only) by Roma inhabitants. It was my first time in Roma. So, I cannot compare to other B&B's but I have the impression that the Quality/Price rapport is very good.

    The location was good and the owner very helpful. He gave us a map and marked on it where to get busses to the centre and nice places to eat and things like that. It was beautifully furnished, air conditioned, very clean and comfortable.

    The location is very close to Ostiense Train Station - very convenient for getting to and from the airport. Local buses are also very regular and convenient. Walking distance to Piramide as well. The apartment (and rooms) are well appointed, bathrooms are brand new
    As this is a newer location and we were one of the first guests there, there still was a lot of construction dust in the rooms. This wasn't entirely something that could be controlled, and we don't necessarily see this as a "minus" for this place.

    Ha sido un lugar mucho más agradable de lo que habíamos pensado. La situación con el centro de la ciudad ha sido muy buena, todo a mano. y muy tranquilo el barrio. The room it was very confortable, and the house very nice place. Very near of the central of old Roma.

    Siamo stati a Roma per un paio di giorni e siamo stati incantati. Il mio compagno non conosceva questa città, per lui fu una bella experienza, anche perchè ci siamo sentiti molto bene in quella casa, con l'accoglianza calorosa e simpatica. E' molto pulito, è comodo, è facile raggiungere a piedi i posti belli. E' stata una bella esperienza e raccomandiamo questo indirizzo. Je recommande aux voyageurs français cet endroit très propre, très confortable; l'accueil y est sympathique, le rapport qualité/prix excellent, d'autant qu'en une quinzaine de minutes à pied on se retrouve auprès de tous les endroits magiques du vieux Rome.

    Sono stato benissimo anche se un sono stato solo una notte, il posto é accogliente e in posizione strategica. Lea camera é elegante e curata nei dettagli. Ritornero' alla Residenza nel caso debba fare ritorno nella capitale con estremo piacere;

    L'ambiente è molto caldo e accogliente, ci siamo sentite a casa. Maurizio, il propietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile. L'area circostante è tranquilla e lo stabile è ben tenuto. Consigliamo di scegliere "la residenza" a Roma per soggiorni tranquilli ma non fuori dal mondo, infatti, il b&b è a risdosso di trastevere, ricco di trattorie e A noi è piaciuto molto, ci torneremo in primavera.
